“KOSOMONA” is one of the fresh songs added to Yazi (Deluxe), the expanded 2026 project from Nigerian melodic rapper and Afropop artist Cheque.
The track gives Cheque more space to extend the world of Yazi, which first arrived in January with songs including “Booming”, “Up to the Sky”, “Zodiac” and “Goodbye”.
Rather than standing apart from the original material, “KOSOMONA” works as part of the extra material added for the deluxe edition, giving returning listeners another reason to revisit the project in its expanded form.
The release also continues a period that has seen Cheque balance rap, melody and Afropop across his recent catalogue, while building beyond the recognition that followed earlier records such as “Zoom”.
